The San Antonio Bar Association’s annual “insider” seminar, Anatomy of a Civil Trial, is just around the corner!
The Bexar County civil district judges have created a seminar unlike any other in Texas, geared toward those attorneys who know how to try a case, but want to know more about how to try a case in front of the Bexar County Civil District Judges. The day is full of opportunities to understand the individual judges better, to find out how they conduct court proceedings and how to prepare for trial in specific courtrooms and before specific judges. The seminar also provides insight into how to use the Bexar County Presiding Court and Monitoring Court dockets more effectively for your clients. This seminar is a MUST for civil practitioners in Bexar County or out-of-town attorneys who try cases in Bexar County. Topics this year will include the following:
• Litigation Trends
• Discovery
• Family Law Professionalism
• Abuse and Neglect
• Supreme Court Update
• Local Rules Discussion (panel)
• Electronic Filing
• Demonstrative Evidence
• 4th Court Update
• Opening and Closing Arguments
• Motion Practice

Commerce) on Thursday, April 17, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $125 to SABA members and $150 to nonmembers for 6.75 hours of CLE credit, including 0.5 hours of ethics.
