SABA Afternoon Practice Series ‘08

This year the San Antonio Bar Association will offer a series of continuing legal education (CLE) programs designed to enhance the practicing Bar’s professional skills. All CLE courses are aimed at satisfying the current and endlessly challenging information and training needs of today’s Bar, and are part of an educational continuum which begins in law school and continues throughout a lawyer’s professional career.

For 2008, the San Antonio Bar Association, under the leadership of our CLE Committee Chairs Judge Andy Mireles and Zach Aoki, has teamed up with other local Bar associations to produce a cutting edge afternoon practice series entitled “The SABA Practice Sampler: Everything You Wanted to Know About...” The series kicks off in February with a new seminar on a different topic every other month throughout 2008. That’s more than 28 hours of low-cost CLE credit, more than fulfilling the annual State Bar requirements!

Your Online Classroom

Earn participatory MCLE credit online through the State Bar now! Hundreds of hours in a variety of practice areas.

The Bar Association keeps a small library of old "Last Chance Videos" (DVD) on file that are available to check out and watch at the SABA offices on a first come, first served basis for self study credit. Please keep in mind that Texas CLE regulations state that only 5.0 hours of self study credit is allowed per reporting year. Attorneys are responsible for reporting their own self study credit.

Please call in advance to make arrangements to come in and watch a video, so we can reserve a conference room and a TV.
